The irony of DIY public relations
Much of Guy Kawasaki’s post (quoting Glen Kelman) about do-it-yourself public relations ironically contains solid PR counsel. An effective PR practitioner or agency should be able to adequately diagnose an organization’s communications needs, adequately consult and provide services where necessary and then ensure the organization can sustain its own PR needs either through internally generated services or outside support if necessary. The words in this post constitute cost-effective public relations advice.
