Attorney Robert Wone was murdered on August 2, 2006. The circumstances surrounding his death are both gruesome and mysterious. Three individuals were recently acquitted of charges associated with the murder: conspiracy, obstruction of justice and crime scene tampering.
After Robert’s murder, four media professionals — Craig Brownstein, Michael Kremin, Doug Johnson and David Greer — in the Washington, D.C. area created a site devoted to the case. Media coverage prior to the site’s launch was spotty and lacked depth and detail. The site ultimately became a clearing house of information about the case. It includes extensive documentation, reports, legal documents, videos and commentary.
In this podcast, I interview two of the site’s creators, Brownstein and Kremin, and discuss with them the case and the history behind their effort to shed light on Robert Wone’s murder.
NOTE: The details of the crime are such that there is discussion in this podcast of violent sexual acts.
